Tornado Warning issued for Middle River, Bowleys Quarters, Chase; tornado confirmed

MIDDLE RIVER, MD—The National Weather Service has issued another Tornado Warning for Baltimore County.



This third warning covers Middle River, Chase, Dundalk, Edgewood, Joppa, and Bowleys Quarters and will remain in effect until 3:15 p.m.

At 246 p.m., a confirmed tornado was located over North Point State Park, near Fort Howard and the mouth of the Patapsco River, moving northeast at 35 mph.

For those in the direct path of a tornado touchdown, flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Damage to roofs, siding, and windows may occur.

Mobile homes may be damaged or destroyed. Tree damage is likely.

A tornado was filmed on the ground in Edgewater and two other warnings have been issued for Baltimore County.
