BCPS Virtual Learning Program announces meal distribution change for week of September 6

TOWSON, MD—Free meals will be available to all students enrolled and attending Baltimore County Public Schools’ Virtual Learning Program through June 30, 2022. Schools and offices will be closed on Monday, September 6, 2021, in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Additionally, schools will be closed for students on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, for systemwide professional development. Therefore, meal pick-up for virtual learners will occur on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, between 8 – 9 a.m.

Parents and guardians must complete the Virtual Learning Program Student Meal Order Form to become eligible to receive meals. An order form must be submitted no later than Thursday, September 2, 2021, to guarantee meal service on Wednesday, September 8, 2021. Note: If a family has more than one student enrolled in the Virtual Learning Program, the parent or guardian must submit a separate form for each child.



The Virtual Learning Program Student Meal Order Form will be available on the Office of Food and Nutrition Services web page and the Virtual Learning Program web page. The Office of Food and Nutrition Services will receive this automated electronic form for enrollment verification and meal ordering.
