Nottingham lottery winner heads to Vegas for chance to win $1 million

NOTTINGHAM, ND—Four lucky Maryland Lottery players are heading on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Las Vegas to participate in the JAMES BOND Lottery Challenge with a chance to win up to $1 million.

The excited winners will join an additional 108 participants from 11 other lotteries across the country.



The four Lottery players each won a trip for two to Las Vegas July 10-14, 2021. The prize package includes round-trip airfare, four nights at a deluxe hotel, $1,000 spending money and the opportunity to win up to $1 million.

The Maryland winners are:

  • Bonita Mitchell from Baltimore (Baltimore City)
  • Asam Mushtaq from Nottingham (Baltimore County)
  • Tara Tucker from Riverside (Harford County)
  • Bertha Woodland from Upper Marlboro (Prince George’s County)

The Maryland Lottery’s JAMES BOND Lottery Challenge second-chance promotion ran from March 23, 2020-October 13, 2020. To enter, Lottery players submitted non-winning JAMES BOND 007™ scratch-off tickets into the My Lottery Rewards program. Winners were randomly selected from more than 960,000 entries.
