CARNEY, MD—A fundraiser will be held next month for a local coach who is battling cancer.
In May, Drew Ignatz received the devastating news that he had stage 4 metastatic colon cancer. Drew, who lives in Carney with his wife, has two children, is a U.S. Army veteran, loves sports, and is an award-winning home brewer.
Drew and Tina have been actively involved in the local community for years, as coaches and as volunteers.
A Shrimp & Bull Roast fundraiser will be held 7 – 11 p.m. on July 24, 2021 at UAW, located at 1010 Oldham Street (21224).
Tickets cost $50 and attendees must be 21 or older.
For those who cannot attend, the family has also set up a fundraising page here.
