Water service to be interrupted for hydrant replacement on Silver Spring Road next week

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Water service will be temporarily interrupted for some Nottingham residents next week.

The Department of Public Works says that water will be shut off in the 4100-block of Silver Spring Road (21236) on at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, June 23rd.

Service is expected to be restored by around 2 p.m.



Water is being shut off to replace an inoperable fire hydrant on Silver Spring Road at Joppawood Court.

Residents may temporarily experience cloudy or discolored water once service is complete.
