WHITE MARSH, MD—Police have arrested a suspect who robbed a department store in White Marsh over the weekend.

At just after 5 p.m. on Friday, June 11, officers responded to the Macy’s in White Marsh Mall for a report of a robbery.

Authorities tell NottinghamMD.com that a male subject stole items from the store.  Asset protection called for officers to respond to the scene.

The male subject was detained, but he then assaulted a police officer and fled the scene.

The suspect was then apprehended and arrested.  No serious injuries were reported.
