Perry Hall school dedicates field to two former White Marsh Recreation Council baseball commissioners

PERRY HALL, MD—A Perry Hall school dedicated a field to two former White Marsh Recreation Council baseball commissioners on Saturday morning.

Chapel Hill Elementary School posthumously dedicated Field #2 to Raymond “Butch” Winkler and Tim Sipes, according to Councilman David Marks.

Butch Winkler passed away in January at the age of 81, while Tim Sipes passed away in 2016 at the age of 61.

Winkler was a longtime volunteer who also owned a barber shop on Kahlston Road, while Sipes volunteered for Cowenton Fire Department, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts.

“Thank you to these two leaders and to their families for their support,” said Councilman Marks on Saturday morning. “They truly made a difference!”
