Maryland’s COVID-19 hospitalizations fall below 500 for 1st time since October, weekly Zip Code Report to be discontinued

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Governor Larry Hogan on Saturday announced two important milestones in Maryland’s battle with COVID-19.

As of Saturday morning, coronavirus-related hospitalizations have fallen to 490.  This marks the first time since late October that hospitalizations have fallen below 500.

The state’s positivity rate also dropped to 2.04%, a new all-time low.

The Maryland Department of Health has announced that it will no longer be tweeting the state’s COVID-19 metrics on a daily basis.  As a result, NottinghamMD.com’s weekly Zip Code Report will also be retired effective immediately.
