Beaconsfield Road water main break creates another geyser

NOTTINGHAM, MD—For the second time in as many weeks, a water main break has resulted in a geyser in the Nottingham area.

At around noon on Thursday, a water main on Beaconsfield Road ruptured sending water 30 feet into the air.

Crews responded quickly and repaired the main.

“My appreciation to the city and county crews that responded to the water main break in the Beaconsfield Road area,” said Councilman David Marks. “I will continue to push for a regional water authority and capital improvements such as the project now budgeted in Seven Courts.”

Last week, a water main in the Seven Courts community ruptured sending water 30 – 40 feet into the air.
