NOTTINGHAM, MD—A couple of local residents are several thousand dollars richer this week, thanks to the Maryland Lottery.
Lottery officials say a winning $50,000 20x the Cash ticket was sold at J. Convenience, located 8765 Satyr Hill Road (21234). A winning $10,000 10x the Cash ticket was sold at the Wawa located at 8731 Pulaski Highway (21237).
In all, 34 Maryland Lottery players across the state won or claimed prizes of $10,000 or more, and the Lottery paid a total of nearly $34.8 million in prizes in the seven days ending May 2nd.
Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery Claims Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only. Prizes up to and including $25,000 can be claimed at any of Maryland’s six casinos with no appointment necessary.
Scratch-off winners have 182 days from the announced end-of-game date to claim their prize. Last claim dates for scratch-off tickets are published in the scratch-off section of mdlottery.com.
