Assault reported during Rosedale road rage incident, Carney convenience store burglarized

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating two local crimes that were reported this week.

At 1 a.m. on Wednesday, April 28, two individuals smashed a small hole in a window at the Quick Stop Food Mart, located in the 3300-block of E. Joppa Road in Carney (21234), then reached inside and attempted to steal cigarettes.



It is unknown whether any items were stolen.

At 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, a road rage incident escalated in a parking lot in the 8600-block of Philadelphia Road in Rosedale (21237).  The suspect struck the victim’s vehicle and then the victim, who was standing outside of the vehicle.

The suspect then fled the scene, but was located and arrested. The victim sustained a non-life threatening injury.
