BGE to hold virtual public hearing on replacement of Carney transmission line

CARNEY, MD—BGE on Wednesday announced that a virtual information public hearing will be held at 6:30 p.m. on May 20, 2021, to discuss replacing a Carney transmission line.

At the meeting, officials will provide information and receive comments concerning BGE’s application for authority to replace a portion of an existing 115kV transmission line that runs from the Five Forks Substation, located in northern Harford County, to the vicinity of the Windy Edge Substation on Northwind Road in Carney.



Any person who wishes to speak at the May 20th virtual evening hearing may send an email to [email protected] by 12:00 noon on May 17, 2021.

Anyone wishing to observe the virtual hearing may do so on the Public Utility Law Judge Division’s YouTube Channel online here.

Written comments on this matter may also be submitted electronically or by first-class mail, on or before November 15, 2021.
