PERRY HALL, MD—Baltimore County Councilman David Marks on Tuesday announced that Winkler Street in Perry Hall has qualified for traffic calming.
After an engineering review and a petition drive supported by over 75 percent of residents, the route qualified for speed bumps along an area extending from Forge Road.
The project will cost $15,000 and be constructed within two months.
“I would like to thank the Department of Public Works for its support and Karen Lochary and Nitsa Stakias for collecting the signatures,” said Councilman Marks.
Other routes that have received traffic calming include Ebenezer Road, Hines Road, Klausmeier Road, Snyder Lane, and the eastern section of Silver Spring Road.
