Businesses evacuated, Joppa Road closed due to bomb threat

TOWSON, MD—Police are responding to a Saturday afternoon bomb threat in the Towson area.

The incident was reported at just before 3:30 p.m. at the Towson Cinemark, located in the 100-block of E. Joppa Road.

Several businesses in the area are being evacuated.

Local roads have also been closed.

Motorists should avoid the area.
