Police in Baltimore County announce activities to commemorate National Crime Victims’ Rights Week

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Each year in April, the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office for Victims of Crime coordinates National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW) to promote victims’ rights and services, and honor crime victims and those who advocate on their behalf. The theme for this year’s 40th anniversary of NCVRW is Support Victims. Build Trust. Engage Communities.

National Crime Victims’ Rights Week is scheduled for April 18 to 24. Here are events that will be held in and around the Nottingham area to raise awareness about crime victims’ rights, protections and services.



Those who attend these events are reminded to wear a mask and maintain social distancing.

Parkville Precinct
Activity: Planting a tree
Location: Precinct 8, 8532 Old Harford Road, 21234
Date and Time: April 21; 1 p.m.

White Marsh Precinct
Activity: Flowers and a sign for crime victims’ rights week will be placed in the precinct lobby
Location: Precinct 9 lobby, 8220 Perry Hall Boulevard, 21236
Date and Time: April 19; 9 a.m.
