NOTTINGHAM, MD—A water main break in Perry Hall’s Seven Courts community is still leaking one week after the initial rupture.
Water is still gushing from Silverwood Court onto Pinedale Drive, according to Councilman David Marks.
A contractor came out to the scene on Wednesday night and attempted repairs, but the leak has resurfaced again.
Residents have been without water at times, and when the water is on it is often cloudy.
“I am told that if this occurs, running the water for five minutes may help,” said Councilman Marks. “Regardless, our office is doing everything possible to get this fixed. We’ve reached out to secure donated water in case there are further outages, and remain in touch with residents.”
This afternoon, our office distributed gallon jugs of water to residents along Pinedale Drive, Haymarket Court, and Silverwood Court impacted by a persistent water leak.
Weis Markets once again showed its support for the community by donating 68 gallons of water. @WeisMarkets pic.twitter.com/tyH2k862OW
