Councilman Marks: State Highway Administration to issue safety review for Kingsville area within 30 days

KINGSVILLE, MD—Baltimore County Councilman David Marks has confirmed to NottinghamMD.com that the Maryland State Highway Administration will conduct a safety review of the Belair Road corridor within the next month.

Councilman Marks requested the review after four different crashes were reported along this route over the past two weeks.

Senators J.B. Jennings and Kathy Klausmeier and Delegates Lauren Arikan and Kathy Szeliga also supported the study.

“These crashes were at distinct locations along Belair Road in the heart of Kingsville,” said Councilman Marks. “We’d like any recommendations that can help improve safety. All of us appreciate SHA’s attention to this important problem.”
