CARNEY, MD—Baltimore County Councilman David Marks and volunteers will lead a cleanup of parts of Joppa Road on Saturday, March 13th.
Those participating will be meeting at 8:30 a.m. at the Kona Ice snowball stand located at 3326 East Joppa Road (at Magledt Road).
“Last spring, we were limited by the pandemic, and so many of our corridors have accumulated piles of trash,” said Councilman Marks. “This is an excellent opportunity to improve and give back to our communities.”
Volunteers are asked to wear masks, gloves, and appropriate clothing. They will be focusing on the area near Joppa and Magledt Roads, and the area near Joppa Road and the Baltimore Beltway.
In the event of inclement weather, check Councilman Marks’ Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/countycouncilmandavidmarks.
This will be the first of several cleanups in the Fifth District over the next few weeks. For more information, contact Councilman Marks at [email protected].
