I-695 carjacking crash suspects identified, charged

ROSEDALE, MD—Two suspects connected to a carjacking face serious charges after they crashed into a trash truck along I-695 last week.

Daryl Maurice Brown, 19, of the 9700-block of Luguna Road (21220), and Robert Louis Davis, 18, of the 5900-block of Clayton Avenue (21206), were both in the vehicle, a Honda Crosstour, when they attempted to exit I-695 onto Pulaski Highway and collided with the trash truck. The crash caused the inner loop of I-695 to be closed for several hours.

Both Brown and Davis were transported to area hospitals, treated, and released. The two are accused of stealing the Honda after assaulting a woman.

The victim was treated and released from an area hospital for injuries she sustained.

Brown faces charges of carjacking, robbery, theft and assault; Davis faces charges of assault, theft, and robbery.

Both men are being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center following bail review hearings on Wednesday.
