NOTTINGHAM, MD—Yet another winter storm is expected to impact the Baltimore area later this week.
A massive winter storm is moving across the Ohio Valley into the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast bringing snow, sleet, and freezing rain.
The new storm has been trending colder and is expected to bring snow mixed with sleet to the Baltimore area from late Wednesday night through late Thursday night.
The highest risk for heavier amounts of ice and snow lie mainly to the north and west of the I-95 corridor.
Winter Storm Watches are now in effect throughout central Virginia and are likely to be expanded north and east.
