Maryland State Police respond to over 100 weather-related crashes

BALTIMORE, MD—The winter storm that brought 3 – 6 inches of snow to the Baltimore area wreaked havoc on local roadways.

From 4 p.m. on Wednesday to 10 a.m. on Thursday, Maryland State Police officials say they responded to 102 crashes, reported 74 disabled/unattended vehicles, and answered 758 calls for service.



As of 10 a.m. on Thursday, all watches, warnings, and advisories for Baltimore County have been lifted.

Baltimore County officials say that, while precipitation has slowed or ended, roads may still be slippery. Motorists should continue to drive with extra caution throughout the day.
