NOTTINGHAM, MD—The National Weather Service has upgraded northern Baltimore County to a Winter Storm Warning.
The Winter Weather Advisory is no longer in effect.
The warning will be in effect until 10 a.m. on Thursday morning.
Heavy snow is expected with total accumulations of 4 to 6 inches.
Motorists should plan on hazardous road conditions that could impact the morning commute.
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
When venturing outside, watch your first few steps taken on steps, sidewalks, and driveways, which could be icy and slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
