WMVFC awarded $9,300 FEMA grant

WHITE MARSH, MD—The White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company has been awarded a grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

Officials on Monday announced that WMVFC had received $9,300 in funding through FEMA’s Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG-S 2).

The grant will help WMVFC offset COVID-19-related expenses.

Since 2001, FEMA’s Assistance to Firefighters Grant has helped firefighters and other first responders obtain critically needed resources necessary for protecting the public and emergency personnel from fire and related hazards.
