Harford County robbery suspect who shot himself during Baltimore County police chase identified

NOTTINGHAM, MD—The Harford County robbery suspect who led police on a chase through White Marsh before shooting himself on I-695 in Essex has been identified.

The Harford County Sheriff’s Office has identified the deceased suspect as 38-year-old Thomas R. Hoerr III of Forest Hill.



After warrants were served on Hoerr’s vehicle and residence, evidence was collected that connects Hoerr to a December 22 robbery of a High’s store in Churchville, a December 26 robbery of a 7-Eleven in Abingdon, and a robbery being investigated by the Aberdeen Police Department.
