Woman arrested after crashing stolen vehicle into police car on Route 40

ROSEDALE, MD—Police have arrested a woman after she crashed into a Baltimore County Police Department patrol car in Rosedale overnight.



At just after midnight on Saturday, December 26, officers responded to the 8400-block of Pulaski Highway (21237) after a patrol officer was struck by a stolen 2007 Lincoln Town Car.

Authorities say the officer was stationary inside of his marked patrol car working DUI enforcement when the suspect lost control of the Lincoln and struck the patrol car on the driver side.

The officer was taken to R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center with non-life threatening injuries and has since been released.

The suspect was apprehended and also taken to an area hospital. She is expected to survive her injuries.

The identity of the suspect, an adult woman, is withheld pending formal charges.
