No Trash, Recycling or Yard Materials Collection on Christmas Day; Drop-off Centers Closed

There will be no trash, recycling or yard materials collection and all County trash and recycling drop-off centers, including the Eastern Sanitary Landfill in White Marsh, will be closed on Christmas Day Friday, December 25.

All scheduled collections will run normally and all drop-off centers will open with normal operating hours on Christmas Eve, Thursday, December 24.

The impact of holidays varies among Baltimore County collection schedules. County residents should consult their particular schedule to learn when to set out materials during weeks that contain a collection holiday. Residents may view their schedule on the Bureau of Solid Waste Management’s website. Schedules can also be obtained through the County’s BaltCoGo mobile app or by calling 410-887-2000.

Collections of all types may occur later than usual during the week following Thanksgiving. If a collection does not occur on the scheduled day during this period of time, trash materials should be left out until collection occurs.
