NWS: Dusting of snow could disrupt Wednesday morning commute

NOTTINGHAM, MD—The National Weather Service says a dusting of snow could disrupt the Wednesday morning commute.

There is the potential for hazardous commuting conditions on Wednesday morning, as a period of snow is possible across portions of the Baltimore metro area.

Accumulations of 1/4 to 1/2-inch of snow are possible on area roads.

If the threat does materialize during the Wednesday morning rush-hour, many roads could quickly turn icy. This could lead to dangerous traveling conditions, multiple accidents, and extensive delays.

Motorists should prepare for potential travel disruptions.
