Royal Farms in Carney robbed, suspect arrested

CARNEY, MD—Police say a man has been arrested after robbing a Royal Farms store in Carney over the weekend.

At around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 8, an individual entered the Royal Farms store located in the 2400-block of E. Joppa Road (21234) to purchase candy.



When the employee opened the register, the suspect reached over the counter and grabbed the money.

The suspect pushed away the clerk after grabbing the cash and fled the scene on foot.

Authorities say he was later apprehended nearby.

No injuries were reported in the incident.
