NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating a pair of a local crimes that were reported over the weekend.

At 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, a woman returned to her hotel room at the Residence Inn in the 4900-block of Mercantile Road (21236) after being gone for several hours and found her room in disarray.

Several items had been stolen from the room.

At just before 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, an individual entered Sam’s Beauty, located in the 8600-block of Pulaski Highway in Rosedale (21237), and handed a threatening note to the cashier.

The suspect then stole a hair accessory and fled the scene.
