NOTTINGHAM, MD—The 27th named storm of the 2020 Atlantic hurricane season will bring wet weather to the Mid-Atlantic region later this week.
Zeta made landfall in the Yucatan Peninsula as a Category 1 hurricane on Monday night, bringing heavy rains to the area.
By Thursday evening, heavy rainfall is expected throughout Maryland, according to forecasters.
This rainfall will lead to flash, urban, small stream, and minor river flooding.
The entire state could see 2-4″ inches of rainfall and wind gusts of 40-50 MPH heading into Thursday night.
