Kingsville man claims winning $2 million Maryland Lottery scratch-off sold in Perry Hall

PERRY HALL, MD—A Kingsville man has claimed the winning $2 million prize on the $2,000,000 Richer Maryland Lottery scratch-off card that was purchased in Perry Hall.

The 46-year-old found the lucky ticket waiting at the Royal Farms store on Belair Road and claimed his huge prize last week.

The popular $30 scratch-off game, which went on sale in February 2019, gives the top-prize winner the choice of taking the annuity or cash option. The Kingsville winner decided on the cash option, taking home about $1.2 million.

The $2,000,000 Richer scratch-off is still packed with prizes. The game has one more $2 million top prize remaining, as well as three $50,000 prizes, one $5,000 prize and more than 100,000 prizes ranging from $30 to $500.

The Royal Farms store that sold the top-prize winning scratch-off has reason to celebrate, too. The store located at 9620 Belair Road will receive a bonus for its role in the big win.
