Suspect wanted for attempting to run over Baltimore County detective turns herself in

TOWSON, MD—Police say the suspect who was wanted for attempting to run over a Baltimore County Police Department detective turned herself in on Thursday.

Tiara Baker, accompanied by her attorney, went to Patriot Plaza in Towson and turned herself over to police custody at 4:30 p.m.

She has been arrested on the following five warrants:

Baltimore County warrant charge

May 26, 2020 Arrest warrant issued for



  • Robbery
  • Assault-second degree
  • Theft $1,500 to under $25,000
  • Theft $100 to under $1,500

Baltimore City warrant charge

July 1, 2020 offense date

  • Theft $1,500 to under $25,000
  • Motor vehicle/unlawful taking
  • Unauthorized removal of motor vehicle
  • Theft $100 to under $1,500
  • Failure to obey a reasonable and lawful order

Anne Arundel County warrant charge

January 24, 2020 offense date

  • Theft $100 to under $1,500
  • Con-Theft $100 to under $1,500

Anne Arundel County warrant charge

April 28, 2020 offense date

  • Theft $100 to under $1,500

Baltimore County warrant charge

March 4, 2020 Bench warrant issued for

  • Trespassing: Private property (failed to appear on March 4, 2020 for court and the judge issued a failure to appear bench warrant)

Tiara Baker is being held at the Towson Precinct pending a bail hearing.
