Robbery reported during Rosedale candlelight vigil, assault reported following argument

ROSEDALE, MD—Police are investigating a pair of crimes that were reported in the Rosedale area this week.

At just before 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 6, someone was attacked while attending a candlelight vigil in the 1100-block of Rosedale Avenue (21237). Another individual tried to break up the altercation and was also assaulted.



A cell phone and watch were stolen from the victims.

At 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8, two individuals, one of whom was armed, assaulted someone in the doorway of a home in the unit block of Talister Court (21237).

Authorities say the suspects came to the location looking for someone else after an earlier argument outside.
