ROSEDALE, MD—The school year is beginning virtually, but students are still required to meet state immunization requirements.
The Baltimore County Health Department provides free immunizations for children who meet certain qualifications.
Children eligible for free immunizations are those who are 18 years of age or younger and:
- have no insurance coverage for vaccines
OR
- are eligible for Medical Assistance or the Maryland Children’s Health Program (M-CHIP)
OR
- are of Alaskan or American Indian descent.
Children covered by private insurance are not able to obtain vaccines at health department clinics and should contact their health care providers.
A county immunization clinic is being held at Eastern Family Resource Center (9150 Franklin Square Dr., 21237).
Families may make appointments by calling 410-887-2705.
