PERRY HALL, MD—The Angel Park Committee will dedicate the Liberty Swing at the Perry Hall playground with a small ceremony on Sunday, August 16, at 6 p.m.
Social distancing will be observed.
The Liberty Swing is especially designed for those in wheelchairs.
“We are excited to finally dedicate one of the last parts of our community-built playground and amphitheater,” said Kelli Szczybor, chair of the committee. “Everyone should have the opportunity to feel the joy of a swing! Angel Park can now give that joy.”
Built in 2016 by thousands of volunteers, Angel Park is located next to the Perry Hall library at 9685 Honeygo Boulevard.
“I would like to thank all those who have invested tens of thousands of hours to make Angel Park a reality,” said Councilman David Marks.
