NOTTINGHAM, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning and a Flood Warning for portions of Baltimore County.
The storm warning covers areas just north of the Nottingham area (including Glen Arm, Fallston, and Kingsville) and will be in effect until 6:15 p.m.
At around 5:30 p.m., severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Bel Air North to near Cockeysville, moving east at 15 mph.
Wind gusts of up to 60 mph are possible.
The flood warning covers the Perry Hall and Nottingham areas and will be in effect until 11:30 p.m.
Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain which will cause flooding. Up to one inch of rain has already fallen.
An additional one to three inches of rainfall is possible over the next one to two hours.
