NOTTINGHAM, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for the Nottingham area.
The watch will be in effect from noon until 2 a.m. on Saturday.
Scattered slow moving showers and thunderstorms are expected Friday afternoon and overnight, which may pose a risk of flash flooding.
A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
Residents should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
