NOTTINGHAM, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Nottingham and the surrounding communities.
The warning will remain in effect until 11:30 p.m. on Friday.
At just before 7:45 p.m. EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the area. Up to three inches of rain have already fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses is expected.
Turn around, don’t drown.
