NOTTINGHAM, MD—The Baltimore County Police Department on Friday promoted six police officers to the rank of Sergeant.
The promotions were held outside of the Public Safety Building, located at 700 East Joppa Road in Towson.
Due to COVID-19, the promotion ceremony attendance was limited.
These officers will be honored at the next formal promotion ceremony in front of their family, friends, and colleagues when the need for social distancing is over.
The following is a list of the promoted officers and their assignments:
- Corporal Michael Czyzewski was promoted to Sergeant and is assigned to Precinct 8 Parkville
- Corporal Steven Iman was promoted to Sergeant and is assigned to the Operations Bureau
- Corporal Parrish McClarin was promoted to Sergeant and is assigned to Precinct 9 White Marsh
- Corporal Christopher Robinson was promoted to Sergeant and is assigned to Precinct 8 Parkville
- Corporal Shane Sammons was promoted to Sergeant and is assigned to the Operations Bureau
- Corporal Michael Smith was promoted to Sergeant and is assigned to Precinct 6 Towson
