NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating several local crimes that were reported over the past week.
At just before 2:45 a.m. on Sunday, July 26, a man was robbed and assaulted by a known individual and two other unknown suspects in the 9600-block of Belair Road in Perry Hall/Nottingham (21236). The suspects stole the victim’s cell phone and wallet and then fled.
At 3 a.m. on Sunday, an individual shattered the front glass door of the Exxon store located in the 8400-block of Honeygo Boulevard (21236) in order to gain entry. The suspect stole merchandise from the store then fled the scene.
At just before 6:15 p.m. on Sunday, an individual broke into a Department of Recreation and Parks building in the 1800-block of Glen Keith Boulevard in Parkville (21234) via a basement window. The suspect discharged a fire extinguisher throughout the building causing the fire alarm to go off. Bottles of water were stolen and several interior doors were damaged. A vending machine was also damaged.
At just after 11:15 p.m. on Monday, July 27, an individual entered the Comfort Inn located in the 8800-block of Loch Raven Boulevard and demanded money from the employee behind the front desk. After receiving the money, the suspect fled on foot.
