Heat Advisory issued for Baltimore on Wednesday, storm risk increases

NOTTINGHAM, MD—The heat wave continues for the Mid-Atlantic on Wednesday.

The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for the Maryland area that will be in effect from noon until 8 p.m.

Heat indices will likely reach 105–110 degrees on Wednesday afternoon.

The chance for severe thunderstorms has also increased.

Residents should limit outdoor activities and monitor their local forecast.
