NOTTINGHAM, MD—The Maryland Department of Health on Saturday reported that statewide COVID-19 hospitalizations had decreased once again over the past 24 hours.
As of Saturday morning, there have been 69,341 cases of novel coronavirus in Maryland. The statewide positivity rate is now at 4.87%, a decrease from Friday’s 4.92%. Baltimore County’s positivity rate now stands at 5.40%, a decrease from Friday’s 5.56%.
There have been 3,111 related deaths and 410 individuals are currently hospitalized…a decrease of 12 patients since Friday. There have been 504,001 negative test results.
Baltimore County has confirmed 8,234 COVID-19 cases and and 459 deaths (editor’s note: for the sake of accuracy, “probable” deaths are not included in the totals below).

- 21128 (Perry Hall) – 68 cases
- 21162 (White Marsh) – 27 cases
- 21234 (Hillendale/Parkville/Carney) – 622 cases
- 21236 (Overlea/Fullerton/Nottingham) – 255 cases

“Maryland has now surpassed 700,000 COVID-19 tests, including nearly 13,000 tests completed yesterday,” said Governor Larry Hogan on Saturday. “Our seven-day positivity rate stands at 4.87%, and hospitalizations have declined to 410.”
