NOTTINGHAM, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for portions of Baltimore County.
The watch will be in effect until 9 p.m. on Saturday night.
Numerous showers and scattered thunderstorms are expected through early Saturday evening.
Localized rainfall amounts of around 1 to 2 inches are possible within a short period of time and this may result in flash flooding for small streams, creeks, and urban areas.
A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding. Flash flooding can be a very dangerous situation.
Residents should monitor forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
