ATM vandalized near Overlea, attempted robbery reported at Rosedale convenience store

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating a pair of local crimes that were reported over the weekend.

At just before 2:15 a.m. on Saturday, June 13, an individual attempted to cut into the ATM at the Wells Fargo located in the 6800-block of Belair Road (21206).



The suspect used an angle grinder but was unsuccessful.

At just after 4:45 a.m. on Sunday, June 14, an individual entered the 7-Eleven located in the 6400-block of Golden Ring Road in Rosedale (21237) and demanded money from the register.

The employee ran and locked herself in the office and nothing was taken.
