UPDATE: Baltimore County Councilman David Marks has issued the following statement:
“I have spoken to the Parkville police precinct about this incident which occurred during the early morning hours. The Baltimore County Police Department robbery unit is actively investigating. The county has a high clearance rate for these crimes and I am confident arrests will be made.
“Thank you to the Police Department for its diligence in investigating this crime – a reminder of why we need a robust police force that investigates, protects, and serves.”
NOTTINGHAM, MD—Authorities are reportedly searching for three suspects after a local pharmacy was robbed overnight.
At around 3 a.m. on Monday, three individuals entered the CVS located at the intersection of Belair Road and Joppa Road (21236).
The suspects demanded cash and, when the pharmacist was unable to open the safe, he reportedly gave them his wallet. The wallet was dropped as the suspects fled.
One man was also reportedly knocked to the ground, stepped on, and “beaten in the head,” according to a witness.
The three suspects, described by a witness as African-American males ages 18-28, then fled in a vehicle that was waiting in the parking lot.
There has been no update on the victim’s condition.
