NOTTINGHAM, MD—A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for a significant portion of Maryland.

The National Weather Service says another round of thunderstorms with heavy rain is expected on Friday afternoon and into Friday evening.

Temperatures will be a bit lower than yesterday, with highs on Friday in the upper-80s.

This should help reduce, but not eliminate, the severe weather risk.
