NOTTINGHAM, MD—A reward is being offered following Monday evening’s fatal shooting in Nottingham.

At around 6:30 p.m., police responded to Stillmeadow Road near Dunfield Road (21236) for a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers found an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and has not yet been identified.

The suspect fled the scene prior to the arrival of police.

Detectives believe this was a targeted shooting and there is no further danger to the general public.

“It is time for Baltimore County to build a police substation and community center to serve this area, something I joined our state legislators in requesting this January,” said Councilman David Marks on Monday night. “The escalating crime in Dunfield and Belmont needs a stronger and more pointed response.”

Anyone with additional information on this incident is asked to contact police at 410-307-2020. Callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000 when submitting tips through Metro Crime Stoppers (1-866-7LOCKUP).
