ANNAPOLIS, MD—On Friday morning, Governor Larry Hogan signed two new Executive Orders meant to help residents and small businesses as they continue to deal with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
With the first Executive Order, Governor Hogan extended the emergency order prohibiting utility providers from shutting off or charging late fees for residential services, including electricity, water, phone, and internet, through July 1st.

The second Executive order aims to provide further support to small businesses. This order expands services by state-licensed breweries, wineries, and distilleries, including the service of alcoholic beverages in outdoor seating areas and third-party shipment to consumers.
