NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating a series of dirt bike-related crimes that were reported over the past week.
Between 3:45 p.m. Monday, May 11, and 12:30 p.m. Friday, May 15, an individual broke into a storage unit in the 3000-block of Eastern Boulevard in Middle River (21220) and stole a dirt bike.
At 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, a man was riding his dirt bike in the area of Summit Avenue at Philadelphia Road in Rosedale (21237) when he was stopped by two individuals who were in a vehicle. The two suspects, one armed, exited the vehicle. One of the suspects stole the victim’s dirt bike, while the other suspect drove off in the vehicle.
At 4:15 a.m. on Thursday, May 14, two individuals broke into a shed in the 1000-block of Sumter Avenue in Rosedale (21237) by breaking the lock with a bolt cutter. Once inside, the suspects stole a dirt bike which was later recovered nearby.
