The Office of the Maryland Secretary of State reports that President Donald Trump has ordered the United States Flag to be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset, on Friday in honor of Peace Officers Memorial Day.

As a matter of protocol, the Maryland flag will be lowered to half-staff as well.
